Description

As a part of my final year at Lancaster University I studied a genre called ‘Bastard Pop’ or ‘Bootlegged Audio’. This is where numerous samples from songs are used to create a new song and my final piece was called ‘Ripped To Shreds’. The concept was infusing the two worlds of electro-acoustical recordings (raw everyday sounds), with famous licks and musical phrases that have become part of our everyday world.

This is just an example of the kind of audio editing I can do and the skills I possess.
